Easyhome - Easy Home is Making my life difficult
Easy home is a business that lets you buy furniture and pay it off over a predetermined length of time, the way they conduct business on the other hand is a complete contradiction to their name. Most people who use such a service are low income families or people receiving government assistance.
My mother is a client and i am appalled at what they call customer service. She is on disability and receives money monthly but the dates do not always coincide with the payment dates.Disability is a guaranteed income but they refused to listen. These people are harassing my mother over $8 and threatening to take back there property (which amounts to like three times the objects actual value once you finally finish paying it off).
Their complete lack of empathy has discouraged me from ever becoming a customer. This company provides no flexibility, the customer service is deplorable and it is not worth it! The company profits because the customers have no other choice.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Hello, I am a journalist working on a story about the Rent to Own industry in Canada. I am looking to speak to people about their experiences with Easyhome and other stores to talk in a newsstory I am working on. My number is 204-788-**** and my email is holly.moore@***.ca

Hello, I read your post just this morning and honestly I am quite concerned about your situation. I have been an easyhome employee for nearly 3 years.
I think the best part about easyhome is the flexibility. If your mother receives income once a month and her payment schedule does not align, then we should be able to accommodate her needs. I know that easyhome will listen and will help your mother back on track because no customer deserves to be treated poorly. If your store manager is not cooperating then I would suggest contacting the call centre through 1-90*-***-****.
They should respond as promptly as they can in order to resolve this problem. Someone will be there to help your mother.
